2 Warriors Earn Top WAC Honors

Monteilh, Kelly Named Top Players

The Western Athletic Conference named University of Hawaii defensive back Keao Monteilh and placekicker Dan Kelly the defensive and special teams players of the week.

Monteilh, a Saint Louis School graduate, recorded seven tackles and had two interceptions in UH's 32-29 overtime win at No. 22 Fresno State. (Read about UH's win.)

Kelly made a career-high four field goals in the win at Fresno State. He connected from 36, 30, 41 and 33 with the final kick the game-winner in overtime. He also missed two kicks.

Kelly scored 14 of the Warriors 32 points in the game.

The WAC named Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore the offensive player of the week.

The Warriors face Louisiana Tech at home for its next game Saturday.
